Robert Hermann serves as the principal of Inverness Middle School, leading a vibrant educational community he has proudly been a part of for over three decades. His deep-rooted connection to the school began 32 years ago when he first walked through its doors as a middle school science teacher. Over the course of his extensive career in education, Principal Hermann has remained deeply honored to support the students, families, and dedicated staff that make IMS a special place to learn and grow.
At the core of Principal Hermann's leadership philosophy is the belief that Inverness Middle School is more than just an academic institution—it is a supportive family of lifelong learners. He strives to create a safe, fair, and engaging environment where every student is empowered to discover their unique potential, gain confidence, and take charge of their future. By emphasizing the values of teamwork, mutual support, and shared knowledge, he works to ensure that students and staff alike continuously grow and strengthen the school community together.
Principal Hermann holds high expectations for the IMS student body, encouraging each individual to bring their best effort, stay focused, and actively participate in their education. At the same time, he is committed to fostering a culture of belonging where every student knows their voice matters and that they have a distinct place at Inverness Middle School. Under his guidance, IMS continues to inspire students to set ambitious goals, pursue their dreams, and achieve great things together.
