Inverness Middle School Newsletter................March 2019

A Message from the Principal:

Our character focus for the month of March is ZEST. Zest means great enthusiasm, energy, delight, joy, and passion. One of the best examples of zest I have seen is a man named Nick Vujicic from Australia. Nick has no arms and no legs but he has a huge amount of courage, sense of humor, a desire to inspire others and zest for life. Google him and be amazed.

The staff of IMS has zest. We love our students in a big way. We have over 2,000 parents and 1,074 students that are served by a dedicated group of a hundred people every day. This dedicated group spends enormous amounts of time, attention, and energy providing a safe and focused passion for growth, learning, and success.

The students of IMS have zest. We have students who have an enthusiasm for academic progress. We have students who have a passion for physical activity. We have students who delight in art, design, and music. We have students who have a joy for community and leadership.

We are so blessed to be surrounded by so much zest! So, develop something you have an interest in… take that spark and form it with good intentions into a fiery blaze. You can do it!
